The Eucalypt by Megan Nielsen can be done up as a tank or tank dress. We think this pattern offers room to be creative, and would make a great canvas for upcycling other material -- think oversized shirt, skirt, or mix and match. Or sew this up in your favorite woven fabric. This is the perfect spring/summer project that you'll be able to wear well into our Texas fall months. And once you've put it together in class, it would be a fun pattern to come back to for creative customization again and again as your sewing confidence grows. Project Highlights: Beginner friendly Ideal for upcycle and pattern hacking Versatile (tank or tank dress) Basic sewing skills covered: Pattern tracing and cutting, fabric selection, basic garment construction, finishing techniques using bias tape. Instructor led for optimal success First class: 9:30 - 10:30 AM (project orientation) Second and Third Class: 9:30-11:30 AM (project construction) 5 hrs total We've got the machines and the sewing tools covered! Pattern and project fabric not included. Our first class will be a one-hour orientation to go over pattern setup and guidance on selecting fabric.
