June 6-10, 1 PM - 4 PM Open to piano students entering 2nd-5th grades

  • 250 US dollars

Service Description

For students entering 2nd - 5th grades, no prior music lessons necessary. Beginner through Early Intermediate level piano students welcome. Explore, Discover, Create! Piano Camp is a discovery-based experience that fosters the joy of music making both in group activities and at the piano. Campers will build on the fundamentals of piano and music in a fun and creative way. Camp sessions will consist of musical based movement, group discovery, small group centers, semi-private lessons, and performance practices that are age appropriate for our campers. Aural enrichment will include a week-long exploration of Peter and the Wolf -- a favorite kid friendly orchestral work by Sergei Prokofiev. Campers will enjoy participating in interactive activities that will bring music history to life! Piano Camp is an ideal preliminary step for traditional one-on-one piano lessons. It is also a great way for current students to review their piano knowledge and continue to build their skills as young musicians.
