Beginner Group Piano

Service Description

Group classes will meet as follows: Thursdays at 4:00-4:50 pm Dates: Jan 12, 26, Feb 2, 9, 16, 23 Mar 2, 9, 23, 30, Apr 6, 20, 27 Student Age: entering 1st-3rd Music and instrumental rental/purchase not included in class fee. Beginner Group Piano is a discovery-based experience that fosters independent learning at the piano. Students will explore the fundamentals of piano in a fun and creative way. The goal of group class is discovery of elementary piano concepts that serve to progress the students. This semester long class will prepare students for future private lesson study. Group piano class sets up a healthy, cooperative learning environment where students progress by observing and demonstrating each one's strengths. Students are encouraged to share their accomplishments with each other weekly to promote healthy peer motivation for at-home practice.
